In January 2021 Peugeot S.A. merged with Fiat Chrysler Automotive N.V. (renamed Stellantis N.V. at the merger's completion). At the merger's completion, Peugeot S.A. ceased to exist. All of Peugeot's assets and liabilities (incl. bonds), have been transferred to Stellantis. It has a strategic alliance with General Motors to share selected platforms, modules, and components on a worldwide basis. The company is based in Paris, France.
